Mogadishu Mile 5K Run, Remember, Honor

October 3, 2026 | American Eagle Harley-Davidson, Corinth, TX

5K commemorative run hosted by Allegiance Project Foundation & Three Rangers Foundation

On Saturday, October 3, 2026, the Mogadishu Mile 5K will bring together veterans, first responders, families, runners, businesses, and community members at American Eagle Harley-Davidson in Corinth, Texas to honor the courage, sacrifice, and enduring legacy of the heroes of the Battle of Mogadishu.

More than a race, the 2026 Mog Mile is a tribute and memorial honoring the events of October 3–4, 1993, when members of Task Force Ranger fought to recover their fallen and wounded brothers in Mogadishu, Somalia. The battle claimed the lives of 18 American servicemen and wounded 73 others, leaving behind a legacy of sacrifice that continues to inspire service, remembrance, and community today.

Event Details:

The event will officially kick off at 11:00 a.m. with an Honor Guard presentation and memorial ceremony, setting the tone for a meaningful day of remembrance before participants take part in the 5K run/walk. Whether you are a competitive runner, veteran, supporter, or family looking for a meaningful community event, the Mog Mile offers something for everyone.

Participants can choose to complete the course as a traditional run or walk, making it accessible for individuals and families of all ages and fitness levels. For those seeking an added challenge, the event will feature the “Ruck” or “In Kit” Challenge, allowing competitors to wear body armor/kit or carry a ruck during the 5K in recognition of the physical demands endured by service members. Awards will be presented to the top individual competitors and top 6-runner teams completing the course in body armor, adding a competitive element for tactical athletes, first responders, military members, and fitness enthusiasts.

Beyond the race, attendees can enjoy a full day of activities including a silent auction, vendor village, family-friendly activities, veteran-focused programming, live entertainment, and a post-race celebration designed to strengthen community connections while honoring those who served.
