OWNER OF 305 TRAINING & CONSULTING

Steve Burris, Owner of 305 Training and Consulting, LLC, retired as a Senior Special Agent from the US Secret Service after 22 years, with a total of 25 years in federal law enforcement. As a Regional In-Service Training Program Manager, he trained over 200 agents across six states and specialized in small detail, Tactical Combat Casualty Care, and control tactics training. With four years as an instructor at the Secret Service Academy and certifications as an ASP-Baton and Pepper Spray instructor, Steve's expertise extends to dynamic use-of-force training. Post-retirement, he offers Active Shooter training and CPR/Stop-the-Bleed sessions for businesses in Houston and Dallas-Ft Worth, drawing upon his tactical and threat mitigation experience.

Ezra is a former USMC Reconnaissance Marine who served for five years at 1st Recon Battalion. He deployed to Afghanistan from 2011-2012 in support of OEF (Operation Enduring Freedom) and deployed on the 11th MEU (Marine Expeditionary Unit) from 2014-2015 as the Force Recon platoon maritime raid force. He currently serves as a security contractor with an other government agency (OGA).

CO-OWNER OF CHECKMATE TRAINING GROUP

Justin is a US Army veteran who served with both the 82nd Airborne and 3rd SFG (Special Forces Group). He has completed multiple combat deployments in high-threat, austere environments with an emphasis on personal security details (PSD) and direct action (DA). Justin has attended multiple stateside executive protection schools such as the Israeli Tactical School, and he is a certified NRA pistol and rifle instructor.

Tyler is a former 0311 rifleman who served for five years at both 3rd Battalion 5th Marines and 1st Battalion 4th Marines. He deployed on the 31st MEU in 2016 as a fire team leader, and then again in 2018 as an infantry squad leader. He has worked alongside multiple foreign partner forces in different environments in order to maintain unit readiness and ensure squad proficiency.

Matthew Easter is a passionate advocate for school safety. As the husband of a dedicated elementary school teacher, he was driven by his desire to provide a safe learning environment for his wife and the students she cares for. As founder of Allegiance Project Foundation, his dedication to this cause has grown into a mission to provide solutions for school safety, throughout Texas schools. Now, Allegiance Project Foundation mobilizes resources and organizations to bridge the gap between schools and communities, empowering individuals to actively enhance safety within local schools. This vision and approach have made them the first organization of its kind.

Mary Holtman is a dedicated mother, with three of her children currently attending public high schools. She is the ideal candidate for our board of directors secretary position. With a deep understanding of the need for school security and a passion for creating safe learning environments for children, Mary brings an invaluable perspective. Mary is a very devoted individual who selflessly serves her family, local church, and children's high school. Her unwavering dedication as a mother and her strong commitment to serving our mission make her a valued member of our Board of Directors.

Elias Wakefield is a devoted father of four, a dedicated husband, and a successful realtor. His passion for creating safer learning environments for children led him to join our nonprofit organization as a board member. With his strategic thinking and business acumen, Elias has played a crucial role in developing sustainable funding models to support our mission. He is known for his creativity, friendly nature, and ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds. Elias’ unwavering commitment to school security and his genuine enthusiasm for making a difference make him an invaluable member of our board of directors.

CHIEF COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER

Tristan Miller is a brand strategist and marketing expert. He is the ideal candidate for our Board of Directors Chief Communications Officer. In this role, he oversees our digital campaigns and brand strategy to ensure our success in providing community-funded school security and reaching our target audience. He passion to serve others drives his efforts to help our message reach local communities and allow us to grow throughout the state of Texas.
